Parkinson’s Support Group
Second Friday of each month
10:00am to 11:00am
FREE SUPPORT GROUP for Caregivers of Parkinson’s patients and their Care givers, Jamillah Ali-Rahman of the Friends of Parkinson’s this support group that provides an opportunity for caregivers to meet regularly for mutual emotional support and to exchange coping skills with one another in matters relating to Parkinson’s disease as well as referral services.

Alzheimer’s Caregivers Support Group
Third Tuesday of each month

Representative from the Alzheimer’s Association will lead this support group that provides an opportunity for family, friends, caregivers and others to meet regularly for mutual emotional support and to exchange coping skills with one another in matters relating to Alzheimer’s disease.

O2 on the Go Support Group
Third Friday of each month
10:00am - Noon
The O2 on the Go Support Group is made up of knowledgeable and supportive members who are versed in the area of various respiratory illnesses. They are not medical professionals, but fellow sufferers who over time have gained information on living and coping with these chronic diseases.

Mother's Breastfeeding Support Group
This is facilitated by a board certified lactation consultant. Schedule varies – please contact Women’s Services at (702) 916-7070. Outpatient Lactation Support Services are also available.
Younger Onset Dementia Support Group
This support group is for care partners of individuals with younger onset dementia, and meets on the second and fourth Saturday each month at 1:30pm.

Epilepsy Support Group
The Epilepsy Support Group is held on the second Wednesday of every month at 5:30pm in the Rendezvous Room, located on the first floor of Sunrise Hospital.
Multiple Sclerosis Support Group
The Multiple Sclerosis Support Group is held on the third Friday of every month at 9:00am at the Nevada Neurosciences Institute, located at 3131 La Canada St, Suite 101.
Stroke Support Group
The Stroke Support Group is held on the third Wednesday of every month at 6:00pm in the Rendezvous Room, located on the first floor of Sunrise Hospital.
