Visiting hours at our hospital
Family and visitors are welcome at Sunrise Children's Hospital to visit their loved ones. Children under the age of 18 must be supervised by an adult at all times. The Children's Hospital does not allow minor visitors, under the age of 18, between 9:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. with the exceptions of parents.
Our general visiting hours are between 4:30 am and 9:00 pm with overnight stays beginning at 9:00 pm.
Visitation restrictions
Circumstances may allow for specific exceptions to any visitation restrictions described on this webpage. Those circumstances include religious visitation as well as a designated support person for a patient with a disability to provide assistance with communication or other necessary components of the patient's treatment. All persons entering under an exception remain subject to appropriate infection control protocols.
Our visitor policy
We adhere to a specific visitor policy for families and patients:
- Masks are required for those visiting.
- Pediatrics, labor and delivery and the maternal infant unit are allowed four visitors at a time during the day. Siblings under the age of 18 may visit with a guardian, two parents / guardian / designated family members may stay overnight.
- Neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) visitation is limited to four designated visitors, including parents/guardians for the duration of a stay. There can only be two visitors at a time and no overnight stays or sibling visitation.
- The pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) and cardiac intensive care unit (CICU) are allowed two visitors at a time during the day. Siblings over the age of 12 may visit with a guardian. One parent/guardian/designated family member may stay overnight.
Pediatric emergency department visitation is limited to two visitors during all hours.

Donations and visits
If you are interested in donating or visiting patients, we welcome you to fill out our form. Please understand that at this time groups are limited to about four people and all individuals must show proof of vaccination against COVID-19 prior to the visit. Thank you for your understanding.

Guest services and amenities
We offer a variety of resources and services to our visitors. Whether your loved one is staying for a while or just in for a quick visit, you can find everything you need to make your visit a great one.
ATMs
There are ATMs located in the cafeteria, lobby and emergency room.
Cafeteria
The Café is located on the first floor of the adult hospital and serves hot entrées and to-go items. Café hours are seven days a week, from 5:30am to midnight.
Clothing
Feel free to contact our guest services volunteers at (702) 961-9256 to assist with providing gently used clothing free of charge from our "Chaplin's Closet."
Coffee barista
Stop by Illy's coffee cart in the lobby and grab a satisfying beverage or quick snack.

Monday through Thursday: 7:00am to 8:00pm
Friday: 7:00am to 6:00pm
Saturday: Closed
Sunday: 9:00am to 5:00pm
Family meeting rooms
Each unit at our hospital has a family lounge, some equipped with showering facilities, kitchenettes and lockers.
Gift shop
Flowers, books, toys, snacks, and much more can be found in our lovely gift shop, located in our lobby. You can also view our gift shop info online.
Lodging
If you are visiting us from another community or state, you can find more information on lodging on our website. We offer discounted rated for families.
Long-distance calls
Our hospital operators will be happy to connect you to a long-distance operator so that you can place a collect call to a loved one. If that is not an option, our on-site Walgreens carries calling cards beginning at $20 each. Contact the front desk at (702) 961-9256 and a hospital volunteer will be happy to assist you in obtaining one.
Private rooms
All of the rooms at our hospital are private rooms with individual amenities for the patient and their family. Each pediatric room has its own bathroom and shower, personal workstation, sleeping accommodations for one parent, wireless internet access, a television and a gaming system.
Spiritual support
An in-house chaplain is available for spiritual care services. You can contact the hospital operator for more information. We also have a meditation room located off the adult main lobby that is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Taxi service
Taxi cabs can be reached by picking up any internal hospital phone and dialing 9-247-4000.
Transportation
We can help make arrangements with providers for those with special transportation needs, such as wheelchair accessibility, to return to their home areas after discharge. Contact your case manager should this service be needed.
Valet
Take advantage of complementary valet services at the front, main entrance and the diagnostic building. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm. After hours, you can retrieve your keys at the Security Desk located in the Emergency Department.
Wi-Fi access
To access our complimentary Wi-Fi for Windows:
- Double click the computer icon on the lower right side of the tool bar.
- Select View Wireless Networks.
- Select Guest Access and connect.
Once connected, agree to the HCA waiver.
