Pediatric services we offer

Our team offers high-quality care, specialized equipment, technology and amenities to support the specific needs of your family. Our pediatric unit features a family conference room and playroom. Your child's room will also come with a built-in daybed, desk with internet connection, video games, a DVD console and storage for your family.

Pediatric imaging

Our imaging services for children are done in a state-of-the-art diagnostic center. Our staff of technologists and fellowship-trained radiologists conducts screenings such as X-rays, computerized tomography (CT) scans, and ultrasounds in a kid-friendly, comfortable environment designed for children.


Pediatric emergency care

Our emergency room (ER) provides 24/7 critical care and advanced technology designed just for kids. We combine the services of a Level II Trauma Center, a SCAN (suspected child abuse and neglect) team and a dedicated transport team.

Our trauma program is certified by the American College of Surgeons — Committee on Trauma. Our ER is family-oriented, kid-friendly and designed to make your child's experience as anxiety-free as possible.


Neonatal intensive care unit (NICU)

Our hospital features a Level III NICU, providing medical or surgical services for premature newborns and critically ill infants. The NICU features resources and amenities to help care for your newborn, and the team provides advanced care, such as extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO). Also, our Ronald McDonald Family Room provides amenities, such as a kitchenette, laundry and showers, for families with newborns staying in our NICU.


Pediatric intensive care unit (PICU)

Our hospital's PICU provides critical care for infants, children and teens for various conditions, including serious injuries and infections. Our team includes professionals like specially trained pediatric doctors, critical care nurses, respiratory therapists and child life specialists.

Our PICU experts use advanced procedures, such as ECMO, for respiratory development and advanced equipment for monitoring. We work to help your child make as full of a recovery as possible.


Pediatric cardiology

Our pediatric cardiology program treats various heart conditions using medical and surgical options. Conditions treated include:

  • Acquired heart conditions (develop after birth)
  • Congenital heart conditions (occurs during pregnancy)
  • Heart arrhythmias (irregular heartbeats)

Pediatric surgery

Our pediatric surgical team performs a full range of general and specialized procedures for infants, children and teens. Our pediatric surgeons provide minimally invasive surgical procedures, including bladder, heart, ear, nose and throat surgery.

We provide child life specialists who help your child understand their procedure, provide distractions to relieve stress and support your family during a challenging time.


Pediatric rehabilitation

Our pediatric rehabilitation program is family-centered and dedicated to meeting your child's rehabilitation needs. Our experienced team provides treatment plans for children, beginning when they are newborns, up until they are 18 years old.

We have inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programs. Our staff treats conditions, such as congenital disorders, orthopedic injuries and trauma. We offer physical, speech and occupational therapies to ensure your child's development and return to independence.
