Advanced spinal procedures

Some of the spine and neck procedures we perform include:

  • Discectomy — Removing herniated disc material that's pressing on a nerve or the spinal cord
  • Laminectomy — Eliminating part of the vertebra, or small bone, to ease pressure on the spinal cord or nerve roots
  • Spinal fusion — Connecting two or more vertebrae in your spine to prevent them from moving and causing discomfort

Dedicated spine coordinator

Through our spine program, we provide you with a personal spine coordinator upon your visit. This person is committed to educating you in the hospital and assisting you with planning for your eventual discharge. Additionally, the spine coordinator serves as a liaison between you and your physician to help ensure that you receive personalized attention and an enhanced overall experience.
