Robot-assisted surgery
We may use robot-assisted surgery, a minimally invasive alternative to traditional surgery, depending on the procedure you're receiving. It is designed to provide our surgeons with enhanced capabilities, including high-definition, 3D vision and a magnified view. Your surgeon controls the robotic system throughout, which translates hand movements into smaller, more precise movements of tiny instruments inside your body.
Our hospital includes the Las Vegas Institute for Robotic Surgery, which is certified as a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery by the Surgical Review Corporation (SRC). The institute is a leader in this surgical method, training surgeons from around the country in the art and science of it. Our team performs hundreds of robot-assisted procedures each year. We continue to conduct more of these surgeries annually, having completed thousands of robot-assisted surgeries altogether.
Our center features:
- Seven of the latest robotic surgical platforms, including six multi-port systems and the first single-port robotic system in Las Vegas
- Treatments for gynecological, urologic and cancer-related conditions
