Bone marrow transplant
Bone marrow exists inside your body's bones and is made of stem cells. If your bone marrow becomes compromised by disease, including certain types of cancer, a bone marrow transplant may be needed to replace your damaged stem cells with healthy ones.

Dedicated transplant services
We perform autologous transplants to fight blood cancers. These are blood and marrow transplants, often called stem cell transplants, where individuals use their own stem cells to replace any diseased or damaged bone marrow.
If you need to undergo a blood and marrow transplant, hospitalization is required at some point during the process. The length of the hospital stay will vary based on the type of transplant and your health condition. Our oncology unit was specially built to meet your unique needs.
Oncology alert patient care program
The Sarah Cannon Transplant and Cellular Therapy Program at our facility offers an oncology alert patient care program. We are the only program in the region focusing on promptly identifying and treating immunocompromised individuals who arrive through the cancer clinic or the emergency room (ER). The program provides special training to ER and clinic teams to identify and address the unique needs of those going through chemotherapy.
The Sarah Cannon transplant and cellular therapy network
Our program is part of the greater Sarah Cannon transplant and cellular therapy network. It offers you convenient, community-based access to complex blood cancer care, which includes acute leukemia, blood and marrow transplantation, clinical trials and innovative therapies.
As one of the largest providers of blood and marrow transplants, the network brings together patient-centered and physician-led blood cancer programs across the U.S. and U.K., conducting about 1,200 transplants annually through eight FACT-accredited transplant centers. Altogether, the network has performed more than 15,000 transplants since inception.
With a full assortment of innovative care options, including access to the newest therapies, we are focused on delivering the best possible blood cancer care from diagnosis through survivorship.
