Visiting hours at our hospital
Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center and Sunrise Children's Hospital are expanding public entrance hours. All public access entrance hours will be open an extra half hour every day 4:30am to 9:00pm. Patients or visitors needing to access the campus may do so 24/7 via the emergency department.
Medical, surgical, emergency and maternity floors
Visitors are allowed 24 hours a day. Family and visitors are welcome here any time. Children under the age of 18 must be supervised by an adult at all times.
Med-surgical patients are allowed four visitors at a time. Children under the age of 18 may visit with a guardian. Two family members may stay overnight if the patient is in a private room. No overnight visitors for patients in a semi-private room.
Emergency patients are allowed up two visitors 24/7.
Critical care unit (CCU) and intensive care unit (ICU)
Visitors are allowed 24 hours a day with some exceptions.
Up to two visitors are allowed at one time in any ICU and semi-private rooms. Children under the age of 18 may visit with a guardian, and one family members may stay overnight if the patient is in a private room. No overnight visitors for patients in a semi-private room.
Visiting Sunrise Children's Hospital
Sunrise Children's Hospital does not allow minor visitors (under the age of 18) between 9:00pm and 4:30am. Exceptions include parents of the patient. Overnight stays begins at 9:00pm.
Neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) — NICU visitation is limited to four designated visitors for the duration of the patient stay. Only parents and grandparents may visit, unless an alternate visitor has been identified.
Two visitors are allowed at a time 24/7, and no overnight stays or sibling visitation.
Pediatrics, labor and delivery (L&D) and Maternal Infant Unit (MIU) — Four visitors at a time are allowed during the day. Siblings under the age of 18 may visit with a guardian. Two parents, guardians or designated family members may stay overnight.
Pediatric ICU (PICU) and pediatric cardiac ICU (CICU) — Allowed two visitors at a time during the day, siblings over the age of 12 may visit with a guardian, one parent, guardian or designated family member may stay overnight.
Pediatric emergency department — Visitation is limited to two visitors 24/7.
Visitation restrictions
Circumstances may allow for specific exceptions to any visitation restrictions described on this webpage. Those circumstances include religious visitation as well as a designated support person for a patient with a disability to provide assistance with communication or other necessary components of the patient's treatment. All persons entering under an exception remain subject to appropriate infection control protocols.

Gift shop
Flowers, books, toys, snacks and much more can be found in our gift shop, located in the lobby of the Sunrise Children's Hospital.
Floral kiosk
In addition to the gift shop, flowers may also be purchased at any time from our floral kiosk located in the main lobby of the hospital.
Dining
The Sunrise Café is located on the main floor of Sunrise Hospital and serves hot entrées and to-go items. Café hours are seven days a week, from 5:30am - midnight.
We also have a coffee cart located in the main lobby of the hospital serving Starbucks, gourmet coffees and various pastries. The cart is open Monday - Friday 6:30am - 7:30pm, Saturday 6:30am - noon and closed on Sunday.
Subway Sandwich Shop is conveniently located next to the school bus elevators and is open 24/7. Call ahead to (702) 733-8020 and your order will be ready when you arrive.
ATMs
There are ATMs located in the cafeteria, children's lobby and ER.
