Southern Hills Hospital is proud to announce the start of construction on its 7th-floor vertical expansion project
Las Vegas, NV – Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center is proud to announce the start of construction on its 7th-floor vertical expansion project. This 18,000-square-foot addition will transform the current shell space into a state-of-the-art inpatient rehabilitation unit, marking a significant milestone in healthcare for Southwest Las Vegas.
The new floor will feature:
- 20 spacious patient rooms designed for comfort and care.
- A state-of-the-art gym and ADL (Activities of Daily Living) suite to support patient recovery.
- Cutting-edge rehabilitation technology and equipment.
- A modern cafeteria and social spaces for patients and visitors.
- Dedicated resources for speech-language pathology services.
This expansion represents a significant step forward for the community, as Southern Hills will begin offering inpatient rehabilitation services. This means families will no longer need to transfer their loved ones to other locations after surgery or medical events. Instead, patients can stay close to home, receiving the exceptional care and support they’ve come to trust from Southern Hills Hospital.
“We are thrilled to bring this much-needed service to our community,” said Alexis Mussi, CEO of Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center. “This project underscores our commitment to providing advanced care close to home, ensuring our patients and their families feel supported every step of the way.”
Construction is underway, and the new floor is expected to open by the end of 2025.
