Services we offer for neck and back pain
While some spine-related conditions can be treated with prescription medications and rest, others may require surgery. We take every precaution to make sure we find the best long-term solution for your well-being.
Types of spine care we provide
If you're experiencing back, neck or spine discomfort, the teams within our network combine years of collective training with field experience to support you. After an initial evaluation, we will recommend the care plan that's right for you based on your condition.
Nonsurgical spine treatments
If your situation allows for a more conservative approach, we may have you start treatment by taking prescribed muscle relaxants, limiting physical activity and icing or heating the affected area.
However, if these self-care methods don’t lead to the proper relief in a timely manner, our neck and back specialists perform additional diagnostic tests to assess bones and soft tissues. At this stage, physical therapy might be endorsed to increase flexibility and muscle strength. Surgery could be the next necessary step if this preliminary process doesn't prove to be enough.
Innovative spine surgery
Most causes of neck and back pain are the result of growing older or a sudden accident. There are other instances where surgery may be the best way to appropriately address an issue. Whenever possible, our spine surgeons perform procedures using a minimally invasive approach. This modern technique increases the likelihood of a quicker recovery, reduces the risk of surgical complications and contributes to less scarring and a shorter hospital stay.
We are one of only a few networks nationwide to offer noninvasive surgery of the spine that’s guided by augmented reality (AR). During this type of advanced procedure, our surgeons use a surgical robot — the first of its kind in Nevada — to view the spine in 3D through the skin. This gives them more control, leading to greater accuracy and efficiency, which can then potentially benefit you physically.
