MountainView Hospital announced today that it is one of America’s 100 Best Hospitals for 2025, according to new research released by Healthgrades. MountainView is the only hospital in Nevada recognized as America’s 100 Best Hospitals. This achievement reflects MountainView Hospital’s unwavering commitment to exceptional patient care and puts the organization in the top 2 percent of hospitals nationwide for overall clinical performance for a second year in a row.

In addition to this recognition for overall clinical care, MountainView Hospital is the recipient of numerous accolades related to its outstanding performance in key service areas, including One of America’s 50 Best Hospitals for Surgical Care and 100 Best Hospitals for Cardiac Care, Critical Care, Pulmonary Care, Orthopedic Surgery, Prostate Surgery, Gastrointestinal Care & Surgery in 2025.

These achievements further underscore the organization’s dedication to clinical excellence, placing MountainView Hospital among the upper echelon of hospitals nationwide.

“We are incredibly proud and honored to be named a Top 100 Hospital for the second consecutive year. This achievement reflects the dedication, hard work, and compassionate care of our entire team. More importantly, it is a testament to our ongoing commitment to the health and well-being of our community,” said Hiral Patel, MountainView Hospital Chief Executive Officer. “Being recognized at this level allows us to continue investing in innovative solutions, advanced technologies and patient-centered care, ensuring that every individual who walks through our doors receives the highest quality treatment. This milestone reinforces our mission to be a trusted partner in the health of our community, and we look forward to continuing to serve with excellence for many years to come."

MountainView Hospital’s achievements are based exclusively on what matters most: patient outcomes.

To determine the top hospitals for 2025, Healthgrades evaluated risk-adjusted mortality and complication rates for over 30 conditions and procedures at approximately 4,500 hospitals nationwide. Healthgrades’ annual analysis revealed significant performance gaps between the nation’s highest- and lowest-achieving hospitals, making it increasingly important to seek care at a top-rated facility.

“As one of America’s 100 Best Hospitals, MountainView is elevating the standard for quality care nationwide,” said Brad Bowman, MD, chief medical officer and head of data science at Healthgrades. “Healthgrades commends MountainView Hospital for their ongoing leadership and commitment to providing the best possible care for all patients in Southern Nevada.”

Additionally, MountainView Hospital has been named to the America’s 250 Best Hospitals since 2021. That list has expanded this year to include sister hospitals Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center and Southern Hills Hospital among America’s 250 Best Hospitals.

*Statistics are based on Healthgrades analysis of MedPAR data for years 2021 through 2023 and represent three-year estimates for Medicare patients only.
