What: Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center are hosting a ribbon-cutting celebration to commemorate the opening of ER at Desert's Edge, a $14 million brand-new, freestanding Emergency Room servicing the Southwest communities of Enterprise and Mountain's Edge.

Why: As the Las Vegas community grows, Southern Hills Hospital wants to provide individuals with a choice regarding their healthcare. This new state-of-the-art freestanding emergency room is intended to care for patients' emergency services needs in their community. ER at Desert's Edge will serve the fast-growing community in the Southwest. The 24-hour facility will operate as a fully integrated department of Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center while serving patients in a convenient, off-site location.
ER at Desert's Edge features 11,000 square feet with 12 private exam rooms that can treat adults and children. We diagnose and treat patients quickly and accurately when every second counts. Our emergency rooms are staffed 24/7 by ER physician specialists, highly trained ER nurses, and a staff of experts committed to serving patients in need. The facility also includes onsite imaging and laboratory services. This is the first HCA Healthcare freestanding emergency facility in the area and Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center's third in the Las Vegas community.
