Labor and delivery rooms
We want your room to be a relaxing space to welcome your baby. To do this, we use a variety of holistic amenities to create a calming environment, including birthing balls, Himalayan salt lamps, flameless candles, portable speakers, sound machines and upright birth position seats.
Our labor and delivery unit also features:
- Luxury recovery suites with a separate room and sitting area for loved ones (available for a fee)
- Private and spacious labor and delivery suites that include an adjustable bed and sitting area for guests
- Room decorating packages that can include balloons, blankets and flowers
- Twenty-five postpartum rooms with televisions and private restrooms
- Upgraded technology and equipment to enhance birth experience
As each newborn is born, you will hear a special lullaby chime throughout the hospital to celebrate new life. After delivery, we will prepare and bring a complimentary three-course celebratory meal for you and a guest.
Amenities and support at our birth center
Our staff aims to create a supportive environment for you and your baby. We take every step possible to ensure you have the amenities, care and expertise you need, including offering:
- Advanced infant security system
- Family-centered couplet care to promote bonding
- Hospital-grade breast pump rentals
- Laborist program supported by Women’s Health Associates of Southern Nevada
We offer complimentary valet, wireless internet access throughout the hospital, and a women's services department designed with your and your baby's comfort in mind.
If you prefer an unmedicated childbirth, we have low-intervention birth options. Our nurses provide support, guidance, and expertise while allowing you to have control over your birth experience in a safe environment. We also offer nitrous oxide, commonly called laughing gas, as a pain management option during labor and delivery. Nitrous oxide will not eliminate pain, but it can dull pain and lessen anxiety. It is self-administered, so you have more control over pain relief.
