Breast cancer care
Our board-certified oncologists care for and treat breast cancer with the use of the latest technology for screenings and diagnostics. Some of these screenings include:
- 3D mammography
- Annual breast examinations
- Breast ultrasounds
- Breast magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) with computer-aided detection (CAD)
- Minimally invasive breast biopsies
Colorectal cancer care
Colorectal cancer is a type of cancer that starts in the colon or the rectum. Our oncologists are prepared to treat this type of cancer, oftentimes through minimally-invasive surgery. Each of our surgeons are certified by the Association of Surgical Technologists (AST), which ensures that you are receiving the most advanced level of care possible.
Gynecological cancer care
The experts at our facilities use surgery to treat various types of gynecological cancers. This treatment can be for cancers or pre-cancers and can include minimally invasive hysterectomy.
Lung cancer care
Our lung cancer team provides treatments that can include surgery, chemotherapy, radiation or a combination of the three.
This type of cancer can be detected early, so it's important to get screened. Some of the screenings we offer include low-dose computerized tomography (LDCT) and robotic bronchoscopy.
Neurological cancer care
Neurological cancer, or cancer of the brain or spine, is often treated with a type of brain surgery, called a craniotomy. This is usually done for the removal of a brain tumor or blood clot, hemorrhage control or relief of pressure inside the skull.
Prostate cancer care
Urologists and oncologists at our campus diagnose and treat many types of urologic cancer, including prostate. Treatment for prostate cancer can include:
- High dose rate (HDR) brachytherapy — Type of radiation therapy to treat cancer
- Prostate seed implants — Placement of radioactive seeds in the prostate
- Ultrasound treatment of the prostate — Noninvasive procedure involving the energy from a highly-focused ultrasound
