Southern Hills Hospital opens newly renovated operating room space
This renovation expands the OR space from 9 to 13 surgical suites, including an advanced operating room equipped to perform complex procedures.
Las Vegas, Nev. — Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center is proud to announce the grand opening of its newly renovated and expanded Operating Room (OR) space. This $37 million project, which broke ground in May 2023 and has been a year in the making, represents a significant enhancement in our surgical capabilities and ongoing commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
The expansion increases our OR space from 9 to 13 state-of-the-art surgical suites alongside the necessary support and recovery areas to better serve our patients. One of the most notable additions is our new hybrid room, an advanced operating room equipped with permanently installed imaging devices. This innovative space will enable surgeons to perform complex procedures with enhanced precision and safety.
We have added 16,905 square feet of new operating space and renovated 10,535 square feet of existing space. These improvements will allow us to accommodate more surgeries, reduce wait times, and provide patients and staff with a more comfortable and efficient environment.
